Shhmooze at The Business of Fun

We’ve added The Business of Fun to Shhmooze!
Everybody at the event can now download Shhmooze for iPhone, iPad or Android for free: <http://shhmooze.com/download>. They can then check into the event to discover and connect with the most useful people there quickly and easily.
LinkedIn and Twitter changed the way you meet and connect with professionals online, but when it comes to meeting and connecting with real people at face-to-face events like conferences and meetups, none of these online social networking tools help much; you’re left on your own, trying to figure out who’s there and who’s who. Even when you manage to figure out who’s there, it’s way harder to go up to a stranger, shake their hand and begin a conversation than it is to click Follow or send a LinkedIn connection request. Face-to-face networking hurts. But it doesn’t have to.  Now we have Shhmooze! Click here to learn more and download the app for free below

Download Shhmooze to your smartphone for quick and easy networking at this event!

And remember, you can follow our live conference tweeting here and join the conversation using #bizfun

Dear Tourism Colleague,
Fáilte Ireland is currently compiling its Festivals and Events Database for 2012

The database of qualifying Festivals and Events will be used to inform all promotional activity carried out by Fáilte Ireland and its partner agencies and to update on www.DiscoverIreland.ie, which is visited by 3 million people annually and backed by an extensive marketing campaign.

The database will also be circulated to Fáilte Ireland regional offices, Shannon Development, Dublin Tourism, Tourism Ireland offices, domestic and international media and domestic and international travel trade as a tool to promote and generate interest in Ireland’s diverse festival and events product.
